With the rapid development and increase in complexity of equipment design and control systems, specialized product knowledge becomes more and more critical. With higher production targets and tighter budgets, it is more important than ever for your Operator and Maintenance teams to understand the intricacies of the equipment under their care so that they can maximize performance while minimizing operating costs, maintenance requirements and overall downtime. Our experienced Technical Advisors are available for detailed class-room and site training during which they will share their experience and knowledge with your team, allowing them to get the most out of your AQS investment.

Upgrade, Rebuild & Performance Enhancement

Systems put into service in the 1980s and 1990s are reaching the end of their design lives but have scope for life extension or performance enhancement to meet the current stringent performance requirements. These units can be modified to provide 15 to 20% more treatment area without increasing the footprint and minimal internal modifications. Upgrades to state-of the art electrodes, rapping systems and power supplies for ESP’s can similarly yield significant performance improvements but require minimal outage times and capital investment. For fabric filters, newer generation filter media and more reliable pulsing systems and cleaning air mechanisms offer quick-wins in terms of improving performance or extending life.

With the availability of footprint to add additional treatment area not only can the desired efficiency can be achieved, but it is also possible to re-rate the unit for higher throughput, higher inlet dust loading, tighter emissions standards or all of the above. Our applications engineers and service technicians will work with you to identify the ideal solution for your plant working within your specific technical, plot-space and budgetary constraints.

Spare Parts & Critical Components

Harmony can supply proprietary and standard spare parts and critical components for ESP’s and Fabric Filters and all associated auxiliary equipment and accessories. Parts that are available with limited lead time include:

Collecting and discharge electrodes
Filter bags & cages
Rapping system components
Insulators, bushings and seals
Electrical and instrumentation spares
Control systems
Electrical & mechanical accessories

Repairs & Maintenance

Harmony’s Service Engineers and Construction Advisers have an extraordinary level of experience on a broad range of AQS equipment. They are available for:

Inspection, troubleshooting, performance analysis and life extension reviews.
Repair supervision, emergency repairs, outage maintenance.
Supervision and Technical Advisory services for major revamps and rebuilds.

Engineering & Project Execution Services

The Harmony engineering team can draw on decades of experience executing projects involving AQS in a wide variety of industrial applications and , in compliance with both domestic and international codes and regulations. We have successfully engineered projects all around the world, including the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Brazil, U.S.A, Canada, Germany, Poland, France, Greece, Czech Republic, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, South Africa, Egypt, U.A.E., Qatar, China, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea and of course India. With such a breadth and depth of experience Harmony is well equipped to handle all your engineering needs:

Process design such as preparation of Heat & Mass Balances, PFD’s, P&ID’s and process datasheets.
Mechanical engineering including the sizing and specification of pumps, fans, blowers, compressors and other rotating equipment, material handling and conveying equipment and various other plant machinery and static equipment.
Civil & structural design and detailing including foundation design for buildings and equipment, support and super structures for equipment, duct, equipment enclosures, pipe rack and cable tray supports and design and detailing of tanks, vessels and AQS related equipment. Our team uses a combination of in-house design tools paired with established design packages such as STAAD Pro for design activities and Advanced Steel, TEKLA and AutoCAD for detailing.
Piping and 3D modelling capabilities include complete plant layout in 2D and 3D, pipe routing, generation of piping isometrics and orthographics and various lists, BOM’s and MTO’s related to piping and related materials. Stress analysis for ductwork and piping is carried out using CEASAR II, while modelling software packages used are Plant 3D, and E3D.
E&I deliverables produced are single-line diagrams, cable and cable tray sizing and routing, panel design including layout and wiring details, electrical load lists, I/O list and instrument index, instrument datasheets, control valve sizing and specification, control description, logic diagrams and lighting calculations.
